Celebrating World Book Day at Banana Moon Kempston

Celebrating World Book Day at Banana Moon Kempston

World Book Day celebrations were in full swing at Banana Moon Kempston as staff and children enjoyed a fun and imaginative day inspired by stories and favourite book characters.

Many different characters arrived through the nursery doors, bringing stories to life and creating excitement throughout the setting. Dressing up as beloved characters is a wonderful way to spark children’s interest in books and storytelling.

Reading plays a vital role in early childhood development. Sharing books together helps children develop language skills, imagination and a lifelong love of reading. It also provides opportunities for conversation, curiosity and creative thinking.

World Book Day is a fantastic reminder of the importance of storytelling and the role that books play in supporting children’s learning and development. We look forward to continuing the celebrations with more exciting activities throughout the day.
